Tobi, the star rowing anchor, is popular, handsome and totally in love with his best friend, Achim. Rowing buddies on their high school team, the two spend their days working out, flirting with girls and toying with one another in the change room.

As summer rowing camp approaches, Tobi looks forward to long days and nights spent with his buddy, but Achim has something different on his mind: his new girlfriend Sandra. As the love triangle plays itself out to Tobi’s frustration, a rival team of cliché-busting gay rowers called the Queerstrokes sets up camp across the lake. It’s not long before Tobi and his teammates are forced to wrestle with their inner prejudices and recognize their deep longings.

Lush, innocent and full of beautiful young men stroking together, Summer Storm is a story full of athletic triumph and bittersweet fumbling towards sensuality.
